The present article is devoted to the research of the issue of improving students’ knowledge in the conditions of blended learning. The theoretical analysis of the sources on this theme is held. The term “blended learning” is defined; the existing models of blended learning; singled out by Russian and foreign scientists; are being viewed. The experience of applying the technology of blended learning while teaching students of an agrarian institute English has been described. The efficiency of such models as “Flipped Classroom” and “Autonomous group” has been proved by means of the experience. The conclusion is made about the fact that practice of teaching English using the technology of blended learning has positive results only in wellprepared conditions with the modern technical equipment and presence of high qualified teaching stuff.
The paper deals with the specific methods of development history students’ cartographic skills. The paper is based on the long experience of the author’s teaching “History of the ancient world”. Using the input questionaire the first-year students’ cartographic skills were revealed. Using the final questionnaire the efficiency of working with maps at the university was assessed.
Geography acts as a unique «focus» of the synthesis of natural and humanitarian as a link in the system “nature – man – society” system. The innovative interdisciplinary master programs with the geographical component have been designed and tested at the Belarusian State University, including for humanitarian specialties. There are «Green Economy and Sustainable Development of an Organization», «Journalism in Intercultural and Geopolitical Communication», «Geodata Management using Intelligent Systems», «Environmental Management and Digital Ecomarketing». The article describes methodological approaches to designing these innovative educational programs. These programs include new interdisciplinary disciplines which are in demand in practice.
The development of teachers' professional competencies in pedagogical axiology is becoming increasingly important in the context of the contemporary value paradigm of educational development. This article analyzes theoretical sources and contemporary research on strengthening the value foundations of the pedagogical education system, including the development of axiological competencies in teachers. The phenomenon of teachers' axiological competence is examined in the context of the contemporary task of preparing them to convey the values of Russian culture to students; its relevant essential characteristics and substantive components are identified. Based on an analysis of scientific papers and taking into account the author's empirical research, approaches to developing the content of additional professional programs for school teachers aimed at developing their axiological competence are identified.
The article analyzes the impact of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the transformation of the teacher's role in the modern university educational environment. The authors argurs that digitalization leads to a paradigm shift: the teacher ceases to be the primary source of information, evolving into a facilitator, mentor, and designer of educational trajectories. Based on a review of scientific literature, a framework of key digital skills for the 21st-century teacher is presented. A comparative analysis of Russian professional development courses reveals their practical focus but also highlights the need for greater personalization and integration of cutting-edge technologies like AI. The conclusion emphasizes that the success of the digital transformation in education depends on the teacher's ability to harmoniously combine technological tools with the development of emotional intelligence and interpersonal interactions.
Traditionally, foreign military personnel study at Russian military universities, and their education begins with learning the Russian language. The article proposes a mathematical model for managing the educational process based on information analysis of data and a dynamic decision tree. The model allows personalizing learning by clustering students by levels of academic achievement and using the Gini index to assess the heterogeneity of student distribution by academic achievement. The application of the model is aimed at dynamically adjusting educational strategies and building individual educational trajectories for students based on current results of monitoring academic achievement. Algorithms for clustering, assessing the quality of student distribution by clusters, and dynamically updating the structure and content of the decision tree are presented.
