HISTORY OF PEDAGOGY AND EDUCATION
The article problematizes the pedagogical topos of the scientific and psychological creativity of one of Z. Freud’s companions – Sh. Ferenczi. Pedagogical connotations in the works of S. Ferenczi in the context of modern educational reality are revealed. The heuristic value of Ferenczi's ideas for pedagogical theory and practice is shown.
The paper deals with the educational ideas of Boris Bim-Bad and his upbringing wisdom. A famous academician of Russian Academy of Education, a creator of the First Open University in Moscow died on March 1, 2023 leaving a valuable scientific heritage. His contribution to educational anthropology and his personality is discussed in the paper. Friendship and cooperation with the member-correspondent of Russian Academy of Education F. A. Fradkin and links with the Education Chair activities are in the focus of attention.
AСTUAL PROBLEMS OF CONTEMPORARY PEDAGOGY AND EDUCATION
Very often it is possible to hear that mathematics in life is not necessary in that volume in which it is studied at school. However mathematical knowledge and skills are necessary in all spheres of human life [4, p. 2]. In addition, the modern direction of education development is largely practice-oriented, and the formation of functional literacy of schoolchildren is unthinkable without the mathematical component. The pedagogical research, proving the expediency of clear links with real life objects, showing the necessity and importance of mathematics in the life of each person is presented in the article.
The article is devoted to solving the problem of teaching fine arts to children of the «digital generation» in a secondary school. According to the author, now more than ever it becomes urgent to search for effective methods that solve the problem of the quality of general art education. A reasonable assumption is made about the rationality of combining reproductive and problem approaches in teaching fine art to modern schoolchildren. A big role in improving the effectiveness of teaching is given to the method of «Personal display by the teacher». One of its variants stands out – the «Method of unfinished display» (the author's formulation). The author attaches particular importance to the teacher's design of educational and creative tasks performed by students in the classroom.
The article emphasizes the absence of an integrated system of methodological support in the development of supplementary general-purpose programs in the field of physical culture and sports. The article theoretical background is the analysis of the legislative framework in education and in the sphere of physical culture and sports in the Russian Federation, and the peculiarities of physical education as an educational process. The profile of physical education and health programs and programs of physical education is considered.
The article is devoted to the review of the most notable innovations in teaching and particularly in teaching English. Especially highly-demanded resources and approaches to teaching are examined, showing the process of forming the basis for the further development of education on modern lines. Their advantages and disadvantages are analyzed. Special emphasis is made on gamification in teaching English.
The article is devoted to the organization of scientific linguistic research of schoolchildren on the basis of foreign languages. The course of linguoculturology is proposed and substantiated as an additional educational program for middle and high school students. The necessary competencies of teachers-scientific supervisors of such a course are considered, the tasks, the subject content and the expected results of the course of linguoculturology for different age groups are formulated.
The article deals with the problem of increasing the level of formation of ecological culture among students in grades 8 – 9 through participation in environmental and local history events. A model for the use of environmental and local history actions is presented, including the preparatory, the actual stage of conducting environmental actions and the design and evaluation stages. Level tasks corresponding to the structure of ecological culture are described.
PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION
The article actualizes the problem of assessing the quality of training for the education sector. Evaluation of the universal pedagogical competencies formed in students of a pedagogical university, which are significant for solving professional problems, makes it possible to judge the results of the training of future teachers. The results of solving this problem are presented by using interactive simulators as an assessment tool, aimed at identifying the level of manifestation of universal pedagogical competencies in students mastering educational programs of undergraduate and graduate programs.
The article discusses new approaches to the training of lawyers working in the field of international law, English-language written online communication. The article analyzes the main criteria characteristic for the implementation of successful written online communication, and also presents the results of an experiment conducted to determine the main problems faced by lawyers in their work in the framework of written online communication in English.
The article analyzes the professional and socially significant qualities of young professionals that are in demand and updated by modern employers, such as the ability to work in a team, leadership qualities, critical thinking, social activity and others. Social project activity is presented as an interdisciplinary tool aimed at improving the quality of education: from career guidance for children and youth, and before they receive a profession. The analysis of the diversification of areas of application of social and project activities aimed at improving the quality of domestic vocational education, its fundamentalization, competitiveness in the global scientific and educational market, demand by domestic applicants and young people from abroad who dream of becoming students of Russian universities.
SPECIAL AND SOCIAL PEDAGOGY AND PSYCHOLOGY
This research aims to determine the specifics of mastering writing skills that are performed through the alphabet by older preschoolers. Symbolic thinking is based on the skill of using letters in writing. The article proves that preschoolers with speech impairment cannot master this symbolic activity before they begin studying. The scientific novelty of the study consists in the hypothesis that the peculiarities of mastering writing skills by preschoolers with speech impairment without any special training may be considered predictors of difficulties in mastering phonematic writing.

The approbation of the program for the development of child-parent relations between parents and children in the process of collective joint activity is presented, the dynamics of the development of joint activity and child-parent relations is investigated. The program allows to optimize socialization and solving problems of adolescence, prevent developmental difficulties at the stage of early adolescence.
