The journal "Bulletin of the Vladimir State University named after Alexander Grigoryevich and Nikolai Grigoryevich Stoletov. Series: Pedagogical and Psychological Sciences" was registered with the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Communications (Roskomnadzor) on January 25, 2013 (Certificate of registration of PI No. FS77-52567), and then re-registered with Roskomnadzor on November 02, 2023 (Certificate of Registration of PI No. FS 77 – 86273). In 2013 the journal received the international registration number ISSN 2307-3241.

The journal is a peer-reviewed scientific and methodological publication, which publishes authors from many regions of Russia, as well as from foreign countries. From 2010 to the present, by the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the journal is regularly included in the List of periodical scientific publications in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Sciences, for the degree of academic degree should be published.

Since 2023, according to the results of the distribution of VAKOV publications by category, the journal belongs to the K2 category. As of February 2024, according to the analysis of the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI), the two-year impact factor for the journal "Bulletin of Vladimir State University named after Alexander Grigoryevich and Nikolai Grigoryevich Stoletov. Series: Pedagogical and Psychological Sciences" amounted to 0.132, and the five-year impact factor was 0.044 (for more information, see the website: https://www.elibrary.ru/title_profile.asp?

Abstract

The article identifies and systematizes the requirements for the teacher of the young Soviet school. The teacher was considered as a conductor of communist ideology, a political agitator, a person of high general culture, a researcher, a social educator accompanying students in ex- tracurricular life, an enthusiast, a collectivist, an initiator of children's creativity and self-education. These requirements for the teacher were carried out through the press, pedagogical courses and other forms of pedagogical education. The maximalism of the requirements for the teacher formed in the 1920s does not allow us to evaluate them unambiguously. They were not fully implemented, but they still have a predictive potential.

In a comparative way, the views of the founders of individual psychology (A.Adler) and analytical psychology (K.G. Jung) on the ontological status of the child are received, the significance of their ideas on this subject is assessed in the context of philosophical, anthropological and psychological-pedagogical comprehension of modern childhood.

Abstract

The article identifies the aesthetic and educational possibilities of Russian folk art, educa- tional tasks, leading approaches to the selection of the content of art education for schoolchil- dren in the field of decorative and applied arts: establishing spiritual, emotional contact with students through the use of a wide range of images, relying on stylistic analysis, the relationship between form and material, the relationship between form and decoration, comprehension the complex purpose of the subject of folk art, the dominant artistic value over the household. The classification of creative tasks based on the analogue in folk art has been carried out and seven types of such tasks have been identified. Examples of pedagogical design of creative tasks and the results of their performance by schoolchildren are given.

Abstract

The article interprets the ways of introducing younger schoolchildren to a healthy lifestyle in extracurricular activities using interactive games at recess. The authors present methodological techniques that allow this activity to become accessible and attractive to participants in the educational process. The idea is substantiated that with the interactive use of extracurricular resources at recess, effective results can be achieved in shaping the foundations of a healthy lifestyle among younger schoolchildren

Abstract

The article is devoted to the urgent problem of organizing home schoolwork for school-children, which has been the subject of discussion among teachers, parents, and scientists for centuries. The author analyzes the history of the issue, starting from the 19th century, when the problem of overloading students with homework was first raised, to modern challenges related to the digitalization of education and the use of artificial intelligence. The purpose of the article is to present the results of the approbation of the concept of homework conducted among teachers of the Far East and the Tambov region. The research used the methods of questionnaires and scientific and pedagogical conversation. The key results of the discussion of the concept were confirmation of the importance of scientific research in this field, the need for an inte- grated approach to assessing the amount of homework, increased attention to the goals of homework, their individualization and differentiation, and increased educational motivation of schoolchildren. The results of the approbation presented in the article showed that the pedagogical community is ready for changes, but needs methodological support for the organization of homework. The implementation of the measures proposed in the concept will make it possible to transform homework from a tool for consolidating knowledge into a means of developing motivation and independence of students.

Abstract

The paper focuses on the relationship between linguocreative word formation in political memes and its impact on learning foreign language vocabulary by first-year students doing non-linguistic programs. The aim of the study was to gain insight into the use of political memes as a tool in foreign language classes based on the analysis of their linguistic features, which can contribute to the creation of a playful atmosphere and influence the successful acquisition of foreign language vocabulary as well as understanding of the linguistic realities typical for different countries.

Abstract

The military-political situation in Russia in the context of a special military operation updated the transition of educational institutions of higher education to a new stage of develop- ment, which directly affected the training of military-technical personnel of foreign states. The article discusses the use of authentic journalistic texts of the periodical «The Krasnaya Zvezda» when teaching cadets Russian as a foreign language in extra-audit reading classes at a military university. Particular attention is paid to the general principles of selecting authentic texts that contribute to the improvement of the communicative competence of foreign military personnel in the formation of the ability to organize speech interaction between the academic and educa- tional-professional spheres.

Abstract

The article deals with the song as a methodological technique that allows for the formation of linguistic, communicative and cultural competences. The authors present a methodological development that includes pre- and post-text tasks aimed at consolidating grammar and vocabulary, as well as developing all types of speech activity – listening, speaking, writing and un- derstanding the text. The tasks and exercises are designed for students with the Russian lan- guage proficiency level from A2 to B1.

Abstract

The article reveals the relationship between pedagogical technology and the praxeological approach in education. Pedagogical praxeology is considered as a methodological basis that focuses on the rational organization of pedagogical activity and optimization of the educational process. It includes the analysis and interpretation of praxeological knowledge in the context of professional training of specialists. The praxeological approach is based on practice-oriented knowledge and involves a structural and functional analysis of the tools and methods used by teachers within the framework of the technology. This allows us to evaluate their effectiveness and feasibility in educational practice, which contributes to a deeper understanding of pedagogical actions and their impact on learning outcomes. The author proves that pedagogical technology is a means of implementing the praxeological approach in the educational process.

Abstract

The article presents the results of the study of support for novice teachers. The problems in the existing support methods and programs and the lack of research in the field of the managerial position of the heads of educational organizations on issues of supporting novice teachers are indicated. The role of managers in creating a favorable environment for novice teachers is determined and proposals are given for improving the support system. A conclusion is made about the need to develop a support system for novice teachers in order to ensure successful adaptation and development of new personnel in education. Questionnaire surveys on various types of questions and content analysis are used. It is revealed that most managers believe that the support system already exists, but there is a disagreement between managers and teachers on the effectiveness of this system. A number of universal and popular support tools are proposed: mentoring and consulting. The managers highlight the lack of a single scientific and methodological space as the main problem.

Abstract

The paper deals with the relevance and possibilities of using educational videos in teaching students’ information technology. The concepts of «video lesson», «educational video» and the approach to organizing their structure from the point of view of pedagogical expediency are clarified. The main stages of editing educational videos are highlighted, the technical and soft- ware tools necessary for creating educational videos are characterized. The importance of developing fundamental competencies in nonlinear video editing in teachers is shown. The potential for using video materials in teaching students’ information technology is demonstrated using the video course «Fundamentals of Programming in C#» as an example.

Abstract

The relevance of the topic is related to the drug addiction of young people and the need to create conditions that would prevent young people from becoming addicted to psychoactive substances (PAS). The article presents the data on the study of the characteristics of resilience, as well as the flexibility of coping behavior of young people with experience in the use of PAS. Statistically significant differences in the level of resilience and its components were found in subjects with and without experience in the use of PAS. No significant differences were found in the degree of stress susceptibility and flexibility of the subjects' coping behavior. It is concluded that the results of the study can be used in the process of providing psychological assis- tance to students.

Abstract

The article systematizes theoretical ideas devoted to the process of progressive digitalization of the educational space. Its contradictory impact on its subjects is emphasized. Technologies and means of effective use of digital resources are presented in order to optimize the educational process without harming the psychophysical health of students and teachers.
