I. Ya. Lerner's scientific legacy: a view from the xxi century

Abstract

This article is devoted to the analysis of the I. Ya. Lerner’s didactic heritage from the point of view of its scientific value and prospects for further development. Substantiating the fundamental nature of the education cultural theory content and the contribution of I. Ya. Lerner to the development of this theory, the author focuses on the productivity of this theory in relation to the development of the modern innovative educational process.
